Since its inception in the Fall of 1999, Radio Free Penn State is the one and only take-no-prisoners local public affairs talk show covering Penn State and the local community, primarily focusing on how students—living on both sides of College Ave—are affected. Topics range from higher ed, academics, academic freedom, student life, shared governance, town-gown issues, landlord-tenant disputes, university administration, tuition and budgetary matters, campus policies and free speech rights, civil liberties, local elections, and much more.
